Newhey Carpets is a leading British designer and manufacturer of contract carpets for the hotel, leisure and entertainment sectors. As well as direct clients, they mainly engage with designers and specifiers and wanted to grow this side of the business.

They engaged us to reposition their brand, collateral and website towards a more design conscious audience. A deep understanding of their customer base informed our brand positioning. We stripped away all of the previous graphic noise and went for a more restrained and contemporary aesthetic – allowing the product to be centre stage. We introduced a powerful positioning statement – Great British Carpet since 1968 – that referenced both the British manufacturing and their heritage.

We created a beautiful library of images and designed a suite of literature, aimed at designers and specifiers.

A dynamic new website

We applied the same ethos to the website – pairing back the design and creating a site that is easy to navigate, and placing the carpet as the hero in each section. We brought clarity to the product areas and made it easy to order samples – the primary function for the target audience.
